Fellow citizens
I just received a report from a mighty runner detailing something that happened in Pepper Park. It seems that there are some problems with the local sewerage that surfaced to bug us. Read the report written by somebody who was there firsthand, witnessing all that happened:
Pepper Park has been filled with the bodies of mutants who attacked the citizens of our great city.
It started with a few of them showing in Pepper Park, attacking whores and bums who swarm there because of the local mafiosi. - but Neocron can count on its citizens, who were there to defend the city with their lives, against the rampaging mutants. The runners regrouped near the Pussy Club to see a dreadful sight: It was not a simple pack of mutants, but a great horde that was involved. This explained the apparent absence of our mighty NCPD: while citizen were fighting the mutants, the NCPD was preventing their spread to other districts, sparing the lives of countless citizens.
The fearless defenders continued to throw all they had at the mutants -as for myself, I was forced to forge new ammo while in combat, because there were too many mutants. Thankfully, mutant teeth seems to work quite well with my self-made Mendicant rifle, and after a short time – which seemed an eternity when it was almost impossible to move because of the mutants corpses - the flow of horrors stopped.
While shops were reopening, and runners were patrolling the streets looking for possible mutant survivors, a message broke through a public help channel: The mysterious MAZE, a Pepper Park - Sec 2 attraction, was full of genotoxic parasites. Once again, whilst the NCPD was cleaning the remnant mutants and putting a security perimeter around the maze, runners where quick to answer the call of their city and entered the maze to cleanse the maze of this threat.
Now all that is left are questions: Did theses genotoxic things create and send the mutants in the streets of Pepper Park?
How could these creatures get into the inner city?
As how is it possible that such stupid creatures escaped the vigilant guard of CityAdmin and NCPD?
The answers will no doubt be found by our police forces, and the guilty punished. Maybe our great leader will even put the cleansing of Pepper Park from the local gangs on the top of the agenda.
But all citizens can sleep well, because no one can harm Neocron. Today it has shown the might and dedication of it loyal citizens, and the efficiency of the NCPD.

Very good description of what has happened in Pepper park last night! I was there fighting alongside of Killian, first on the streets of Neocron and then followed the mutant trail to the Maze.
It is outregous that such a horde of mutants was allowed to get inside of our city !!!

It was a tragic night indeed. I saw mutants coming out of the maze, so I pushed inwards and came across a genotoxic parasite.
I thought at first that maybe it was just someone’s pet that they had brought to the maze and then died there or something, but to my surprise, the place was infested!
I quickly alerted my fellow brave runners and we cleaned out the maze.
Pepper Maze authorities weren’t too pleased about how their mutants had been exterminated, meaning that they would have to retrieve more of them. In fact, it almost seemed as if they wanted the parasites in their maze..
